Mungkin tidak sedikit orang yang tidak suka musik keras seperti musik-musik underground, tetapi penyukanya ternyata tidak sedikit juga, sampai-sampai tempat fenomenal Ujung Berung Bandung bisa menjadi peringkat kedua dari negara Eropa dengan komunitas underground terbanyak dan tentunya mereka mempunyai penggemar yang loyal.

Bleeding Corpse

Walaupun Bleeding Corpse terbentuk pada akhir tahun 2005, personel – personelnya merupakan pemain lama dalam komunitas underground Ujungberung. Uus (gitar) adalah mantan personel Balance Of Terror. Arie (Drum) sebelumnya pernah bermain bersama Injected Sufferage dan Lumpur. Mereka berdua akhirnya merekrut Boby mantan vokalis Dishonest dan Lukluk sebagai pemain bas. Formasi ini sempat bertambah menjadi 5 orang ketika Lukman (eks Filgrim) masuk, tetapi tidak bertahan lama karena Lukman kemudian mengundurkan diri.
Setelah merekam album demo pada bulan November 2006 yang berisi 3 lagu yaitu Bangkai Para Pendosa, Simpuh Tubuh Terbunuh, dan Nista Maja Utama, tahun 2008 kemarin Bleeding Corpse merilis debut album berjudul Resurection Of Murder dibawah label Pieces Record. Peluncuran Album ini dilakukan di Itenas pada bulan November 2008 dengan melakukan konser bersama beberapa band Brutal Death Metal lainnya seperti Distrust, Undergod, Eden Collapse, Bleeding Flesh, Embalmed, dan Mortir sebagai pembuka acara. Album ini berisi 9 lagu brutal death metal yang penuh dengan tehnik twin pedal hyperblasting dan perubahan tempo yang groovy serta tehnik vokal guttural yang tidak kenal ampun. Temponya sangat cepat dan durasi lagunya rata – rata hanya 3 menit. Sepintas memang terdengar aneh dan berisik bagi orang yang belum terbiasa, tetapi musik Death Metal memang tidak diciptakan untuk menjadi easy listening.

Plasmoptysis

Plasmoptysis terbentuk pada bulan November 2006 dengan formasi awal Dedy Kresna (Gitar&Vokal), Endry “Saenk” Noerdrajat (Gitar), dan Sandro Dwiputra Armanda (Bass). Dedy akhirnya memutuskan untuk berkonsentrasi dengan gitarnya dan posisi vocal akhirnya diisi oleh Argha Riyan yang masih sepupu Saenk. Setelah gonta-ganti pemain drum, akhirnya pada bulan Januari 2008 Dawan Saputra memantapkankan formasi Plasmoptysis. Dengan formasi ini, mereka merilis sebuah album demo berjudul “ Parang Gurinda Panyiksa”.
Darah Tumbal, Edan Maneh, dan Torture merupakan tiga lagu yang mengisi album demo mereka ini. Komposisi riff-riff death metal yang rapat, kencang terdengar jelas. Perubahan tempo dari Blastbeat yang ekstrim ke ketukan yang lebih groovy mengingatkan kita pada band-band Death Metal Amerika seperti Brodequin dan Disgorge. Kualitas rekamannya pun bersih dan kita dapat membedakan dengan jelas suara setiap instrumen, namun tetap terdengar menyatu dalam tiap lagunya. Dengan kualitas demo seperti ini tidak heran rasanya jika label Extreme Souls Production berminat membuat kontrak rekaman dengan Plasmoptysis.
Debut album Plasmoptysis yang berjudul “Breeds Of the Malevolent” akan dirilis pada pertengahan tahun 2009 dibawah label ESP (Extreme Souls Production).

Irvan Askobar

Musisi yang satu ini sepertinya tidak akan pernah habis ide dan cara melentingkan harmoni gitarnya sampai penonton terkagum-kagum, Irvan Askobar lahir Kota Baru di Kalimantan Selatan, 27 tahun silam. langkah karirnya dimulai sejak umur 10 tahun, memainkan lagu “BIS KOTA” (God Bless), semenjak itu mulailah secara perlahan Irvan mengikuti beberapa Festival.
Tahun 1998 merilis lagu dengan band pertamanya “EMBRIO”. Tahun 2000 menjadi tahun keberangkatan Irvan menjadi Gitaris Tanah Air yang sangat handal, dalam project solo NUGIE, Irvan menjadi additional player dan juga sebagai pengisi gitar album solo perdana ARI LASSO (Album:sendiri dulu).
stage to stage and performing best skill merupakan aksen pertama yang saya tangkap dari musisi ini, Tahun 2003 Irvan menjadi salah satu dari komunitas Gitaris.com dan juga sebegai performer diberbagai acara, beberapa artis musisi pun pernah jamming bareng Andy Timmons (Gitaris), Ralf Jung (Gitaris asal Jerman), main di Clinician dan 2006 membentuk Band SECTORNINE, merilis album “Tak Akan Berakhir”, Irvan menciptakan 9 lagu dan skaligus Arranger dalam Album ini.
